The last few months have been difficult for everyone and thoughts of travel have been the last thing on our minds when we are all being told to stay at home. I have however been busier than ever, perhaps not booking new holidays but rescheduling my customers who have been due to travel imminently or in the next few months.
I keep getting the same questions; when will we be able to travel? How long until I can go on holiday? When will the airlines start flying again? So it’s clear to see we all still want to go on holiday, it’s just a matter of when.
I know as soon as all this is over I will be as busy as ever if not even busier with everyone wanting to just get out into the big wide world again.
So where will we go and how will we travel? I have been lucky enough to have had some great conversations with some fantastic suppliers who are already gearing up for the influx of new travelers. One company in particular is offering rail travel. You can complete the whole holiday without stepping into an airport. This is definitely an appealing option, and traveling through Europe direct from London gives you the opportunity to see so many different destinations. It’s also a great choice for families.
We may also prefer to stay a little closer to home and holiday in the UK. We have so much to offer on our own doorsteps. After not being able to explore too far recently I can’t wait to get back out into the British countryside. There’s so much to enjoy here, from country cottages to seaside resort hotels. What’s not to love about a staycation?
For many however the desire to get away has not gone and 2021 holidays are filling up fast. With so many people rescheduling this year’s holiday the availability for next year is already getting low. So if you do want to book your usual week or two in the sun for next year, you will need to be quick!
I hope you are all well and staying safe. If you’d like to chat holidays, then please do get in touch.
